Welcome to my Web
site!
Hello my name is Mark Crosbie and I am from London, Ohio...
I
lived between Junction City, and Somerset, Ohio. In the area of Clouse Lake
on the 52 acre family farm. I moved with my family to London, Ohio in 1976.
I went to St. Patrick's school until 8th grade, when I switched to Madison
Plains. I graduated from Madison Plains High School in 1985.
After high school I joined Central Townships Fire Department. I served as a
volunteer with this department from 1985 until 1999. During this time I also
a member of these other organizations The American Red Cross Disaster
Services, London Jaycees, Madison Amateur Radio Club. I am now currently
only a member of the new Madison County Amateur Radio Club.
I
held several jobs between high school and March 1987. In March of 1987. I
studied to become a locksmith, and ran my own business for a short time. I
graduated from the Ohio Peace Officer Police Training Academy, and was hired
by Madison Correctional Institution (MaCI) in March 1987. I worked at MaCI
until November 2005 when I had to take a medical retirement due to an eye
injury that left me legally blind in my left eye.
I am
married to my life partner that I met online. Barbara and I have been
married since October of 1999. We bought the house we currently live at, in
February 2001. Barbara is a wonderful woman. I would be lost without her.
She is the love of my life. Strange things about Barb and I meeting online
are that we were both born in the same hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. Our
parents use to work together in the same factory, and some of Barb's family
use to go hunting on the family farm.
Talk about a small world. Now you know a little more about my
life.
